Thanks so much for the reply. I did visit the Rhoades Cemetery. The library has a listing of the graves therein and my GGGF is listed as being there. I visited the cemetery in November of 2002 (yes, it was very, very, very cold) but was unable to find his grave site. I have just recently (2 years) began work on the Rhodes (my mothers paternal line) and have found a great deal of info. I have not been able to locate anyone beyond my GGGF, George Washington Rhodes.

I live in Atlanta and only get the opportunity to visit SE Iowa about once a year. My family resides in Keokuk, Warsaw and Burlington.

Any information anyone has would be greatly appreciated. As to the question in the 2nd posting, I found my George Washington Rhodes living in Bucklin, Linn County, MO prior to his moving to Farmington. I have found nothing prior to that.
