I am researching my great grandparents, Thomas Charles Whiteley (son of Joseph Wade & Sarah Giles Whiteley) of Bonaparte, IA, and his bride, Ella Price. Trying to locate their wedding license and specifically, her family history. We know all about our Whiteley relatives in Bonaparte, but nothing about Ella. Thomas C. may have met her in school in Van Buren, or, while he was studying law in Burlington, IA. They married about 1875 but I cannot find a license or confirm the date. They lived in Burlington, IA during early childhood years, and moved to Guthrie, OK in 1889. Would love to confer.
