My first cousin, once removed is John Cass ( I think that is correct relationship as he is my mom's first cousin). John is the son of Duane Cecil Cass and Trilla Myers Cass. I have some info that I had just put together not long ago. Marshall Cass and Laura Nevins Cass would be his great grandparents. John's grandfather was LeRoy Cass and his grandmother I think was Lenora Pope. I was recently in Iowa and took a photograph of the Cass stone for Marshall and Laura in the Bonaparte Cemetary. There are Casses buried in the Bentonsport Cemetery, but I have not visited. I you would like, I can ask John if he is well enough to I can maybe put you in touch with him.
