Ruby Haskell Ryden

Ruby Haskell Ryden of Galena, Ill. died Feg. 26, 1990 in Seaside, Oregon from injuries sustained in auto accident.

She was born September 17, 1910 in Madison City, Oklahome(err), daughter of Marshall and Mary Hayes Haskell. She was united in marriage to Rev. Roy Ryden June 8, 1943 in Des Moines.

She received her education in Corydon and completed nurses training at Iowa Methodist Hospital, Des Moines in 1033. She was a member of St. Mathews Lutheran Church of Galena, Ill.

Surviving are her husband, Rev. Roy Ryden, two sons, William Ryden of Frankfort, Ill., Robert Ryden of Milan, Ill., one daughter, Mrs. Harvey (Rosalyn) Pranian of Evanston, Ill., five grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Ada Myers of Keosauqua, two brothers, Doyle Haskell, Iowa and Hollis Haskell of Arkansas.

Services will be held at 11:30 Saturday, March 24, 1990 at St. Mathews Lutheran Church, Galena, Ill., Rev. Frederick Baltz officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Galena, Ill. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. March 23, 1990 at the Steinke Funeral Home in Galena, Ill. Memorials may be sent to the Scholarship Fund, Iowa Methodist School of Nursing, Des Moines, Iowa.
