Lillian Canfield

Lillian M. Canfield, 85, of 2819 Yoder Dr., died Sunday, April 22, 1990, in Burlington.

Born Jan. 14, 1905, in Stockport, she was the daughter of Delbert and Myrtle Morris. She married C.D. Canfield June 6, 1926, in Burlington.

She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church since 1925 where she taught in the kindergarten department for 20 yers. She was a member of the Golden Links Class, the United Methodist Women, the Martha Cowles Kings Daughters and Sons Circle, A.A.R.P. Des Moines County Chapter 820 and was an active member of the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Larry F. Canfield, Burlington; two brothers, Kenneth Morris, Burlington, and Richard Morris, Laguna Niguel, Calif.; three granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Sheagren Funeral Home.

The service for Mrs. Canfield will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Grace United Methodist Church with Dr. Glen Parrott, officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the United Methodist Women of Grace United Methodist Church.
