Helen Harrison

Helen M. Harrison, 78, of Fairfield died at 12:30 p.m. April 15, 1990, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

She was born March 30, 1912, in Fairfield to Edgar and Minnie Booth Neiswanger. She married Denver O. Harrison on April 6, 1935, in Nashua; he died March 8, 1978.

A resident of Jefferson County all of her life, she attended Parsons College and was a teacher in the Jefferson County rural school system. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Philathea Class and Deborah Circle.

She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Edwards of Stockport and Janet Moody of Osage; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Louise Whitham of Mount Pleasant and Mildred Martin of Fairfield.

The service was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 1990 at Behner Funeral Home, the Rev. Bonifacio Mequi officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
