Nancy Mitchell

Mrs. Isabelle Marie "Nancy" Mitchell, 84, of Kahoka, Mo., died at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 1990 in Keokuk, Iowa Area Hospital.

Mrs. Mitchell was born Nov. 29, 1905, near Kahoka, a daughter of Charles and Lula Mae Neil Hodges. She married Edward Kirchner Dec. 24, 1925. He died August 18, 1952. She then married Colin S. Mitchell December 22, 1954. He died January 22, 1973.

Mrs. Mitchell was a member of Kahoka Christian Church and the 50-50 Sunday School Class.

Survivors include two step-daughters, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Muir of Keosauqua, Iowa, and Mrs. Jerry (Colleen) Clark of La Grange; two brothers Wilber C. "Bud" Hodges of Kahoka, and Harold R. "Toad" Hodges of Libby, Mont.; nieces and nephews including Mrs. Gary (Karen) Diehl of Lee's Summit and Wilber C. "Bud" Hodges Jr. of Coal Valley, Ill.; two grandnephews; six stepgrandchildren; and ten step-great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 1990 in the Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka by the Rev. Donald Moseley. Burial was in Kahoka Cemetery.
