Albert Loges
Albert Loges, 84, rural Donnellson, died of an apparent heart ailment at 8:07 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 1989 while en route by ambulance to Keokuk Area Hospital. He had been stricken at home a short time earlier.
A lifelong resident of the Donnellson community, Mr. Loges was born March 3, 1905. He was a farmer and a member of the Embury United Methodist Church.
On February 27, 1935 at Keosauqua, he married Gladys Von Seggen, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Marilyn) Vogel, Donnellson, and Mrs. Myron (Karen) Juhl, Woodbridge, Missouri; two sisters, Mrs. Harold (Wilma) Slaughter, Farmington, and Nina Loges, Donnellson; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers. His parents were Edward and Cora Dresser Loges.
Services were held at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson Monday, March 13, 1989 with the Rev. Don Hensen and Jim Eads officiating. Burial was in Embury Cemetery.
A memorial is being established with the Embury United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made at the funeral home.
