Richard H. Koch

Richard H. Koch, 78, of Donnellson, died at 2:21 a.m. Monday, August 7, 1989 at Burlington Medical Center.

Born July 7, 1911 in Donnellson, he was the son of Edward and Kathryn Spiesz Koch. He married Inez Wardlow April 20, 1938 in Montrose.

He was a lifelong resident of the Donnellson area. He was employed with the Farmers Coop Creamery, Farmington, for 21 years and the Farmers Co-op, Donnellson, for 20 years. He was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ, Donnellson.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Harvey Koch, West Branch; one daughter, Mrs. Virginia (Lew) Nowland, Chicago, Illinois; one brother, Edgar Koch, Cantril; one granddaughter and five step-grandchildren.

The service for Mr. Koch will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 10, 1989 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Donnellson with Reverend J. Winfred Stoerker officiating. Burial will be in Donnell-Koch Cemetery, Donnellson.

Hofbauer Funeral Home, Donnellson was in charge of arrangements.

A memorial has been established for the Donnell-Koch Cemetery.
