Services for Amin Lang, 78, Farmington were held Friday, March 17, 1989 at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington. The Reverend Fred Malone officiated. Burial was in Primrose Cemetery.

Mr. Lang died at 6:38 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 1989 at University Hospitals, Iowa City.

He was born January 30, 1911 in Farmington. A Farmington resident for 46 years, he was a carpenter and contractor and was a member of the Farmington Rod and Gun Club and the Iowa and American Trapshooting Associations. He was a Navy Seabee veteran of World War II.

On October 23, 1937 at Omaha he married Sylvia Nelson, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Roger of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Thelma Cowles, Fort Madison; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. His parents were Christian and Euphemia Halfman Lang.

A memorial is being established with the Farmington EMT unit. Contributions may made at the funeral home.
