Wilmer A. Plowman

Wilmer A. Plowman, 84, of Good Samaritan Center, Ottumwa died Aug. 22, 1989.

He was born Oct. 8, 1904, in Van Buren County to Lewis and Laura Woolley Plowman. He was retired from John Deere Ottumwa Works. He married Leota Bales on Feb. 28, 1941, in Ottumwa.

He is survived by his wife; a son, David of Streamwood, Ill.; a daughter, Mary Waldron of Rock Hill, S.C.; and a sister, Willa Plowman of Ottumwa.

The service was held 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 25, 1989 at Johnson Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Roland L. Shelton of North Court Baptist Church officiated.

Burial was in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
