Evelyn M. Cecil

Evelyn M. Cecil, 74, rural Donnellson, died at 10:23 p.m. Monday, August 21, 1989 at Burlington Medical Center.

Mrs. Cecil was born August 16, 1915, at Farmington. She lived on the same farm for 44 years. She was a member of the Sharon Presbyterian Church and the Bible Study Club.

On Decembeer 7, 1945, at Farmington, she married to Darrel Cecil, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, David of Farmington and Dan of Donnellson; a daughter, Mrs. Mike (Dolores) Campbell, Libertyville, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Clayton (Edith) Duncan, Farmington; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild. Her parents were Clark and Mabel Mitchell Cartnal.

Services were held Wednesday, August 23, 1989 at the Sharon Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Mike Heath officiating. Burial was in Sharon Cemetery.

Hofbauer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

A memorial is being established.
