Sylvester W. Remund

Sylvester W. (Seth) Remund died Tuesday, January 31, 1989 at Good Samaritan Center, Keosauqua, Iowa after a long illness.

He was born July 2, 1909 in Minnesota to William and Clara Sutter Remund. He married Emma Jane (Ferne) Johnson July 2, 1954. She preceded him in death March 2, 1988.

They made their home in Dexter, Oregon for the past 32 years. He was a contractor and owner of the Paus Awhile Trailer Park until his health forced him to retire.

He is survived by a daughter, Joyce and sons Mick and David Remund, all of California; step-son Dick, step-daughters, Victory Lee and Gwin, a sister and brother in Minnesota, two sisters-in-law and husbands, Darline and Will Shumate of Bettendorf and Ray and Evelyn Wright of Farmington.

In September of 1988, Seth moved to Iowa to the Good Sam Center, Keosauqua.

The body will be cremated and the remains entered at Woodville Cemetery, Waseca, Minnesota. There will be no service.

Memorials may be sent to Good Sam for the van fund.
