Lazarus Hardin Howard

Am trying to find any info on Lazarus Howard, born in 1846, who died 16 October 1899, and is buried in the Beulah cemetery on highway 169 north of Thayer, Iowa. Have already gone the route of looking in the Creston City Library records section, no luck. Tried to contact the Union County Historical society with no luck either. He is I was told my third cousin 3x removed. There is also three Howards buried in the Greenlawn cemetery, but I don't know if they are his wife and kids. They are: Earl L. 1891 to 1930, Jennie A. 1891 to 1983, Mary 1867 to 1945. I would appreciate any help with this. You can respond at my posted email address.
