I need the name of the Father and Mother of David F. McGregor(born in Pennsylvania and died in Tingley,IA) The only information is that the father was born in Pennsylvania in 1801 and died in Tuscarawas, Ohio in 1860. Ancestry.Com says that Alexander McGregor was the father of David F,but census data indicates Thomas F McGregor could be the answer Comparative data using 1850,1860, and 1870 records conflicting records; not all just 10 year ages.

FINDIA TELLS ME THAT THE DAVID D. TOMBSTONE IN THE TINGLEY IA CEMETERY IS NOT DAVID F MCGREGOR.

i WOULD DEEPLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP THAT YOU CAN GIVE ME. aNCESTRY.COM DOES SAY DAVID WAS BURIED IN HARTMAN CEMETERY IN MADISON COUNTY, BUT THE GENEALOGY PERSON FOR MADISON COUNTY HAS NO RECORD OF IT. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED/
