Hemmerick Family in Union County

HEMMERICK, BUMGARDNER

In 1925 there was a John and Thelma Bumgardner Hemmerick living at Creston Union County Iowa.
Thelma died there sometime in 1975.
I belive they a daughter named Jean was born between 1918 and 1921.
Would appriciate any help on this family.
The name is so unusual I can not even locate them on the 1920,1930 census apparently the last name was mispelled and I can not locate any thing on them,they may have had other childre besides Jean.
I belive John's father was Phillip Hemmerick.
