Benoni HICKSON, wife IVY and family are on the 1880 census for Afton, Union co IA. His name is usually HIXON or HIXSON in Vinton co Oh, where they lived prior to 1880. His daughter Mary Emily married David CRIST in Ohio, in 1870 they went to Kansas. Benoni reportedly died in 1894 in Georgia. Searching for any information about this family. Did he go to Iowa with a child? Ivy was a HOFFHINE. His first wife, Lydia Arganbright. Any help, theories or suggestions, gratefully accepted. Margaret Calvin
