Glenn E. Haynes, 58, 509 1/2 North Pine Street, died at the Greater Community hospital here at 10:15 p.m. Sunday. He had been ill for about a year.
Mr. Haynes had been employed as a baggageman for the Burlington Railroad and had worked in the past for the Pratt Seed Co., and had operated a service station.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Coens Home for Funerals, Rev. Dale Dunningham, pastor of the First Presbyterian church will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Glen Everett Haynes was born at Grand River, Dec. 31, 1909. He was the son of Roy A. and Florence E. Baker Haynes. He was married at Grand River, October 22, 1931, to Gladys J. Bender.
He is survived by his widow, his father, Roy A. Haynes of Creston, a brother Eldon Haynes of Creston, and a sister, Mrs. Paul (Margaret) Cregeen of Clarinda.
