AFTON STAR ENTERPRISE
MARCH 26, 1914FLUCKY-PRATT WEDDING
Yesterday at the home of the officiating clergyman, Rev. C. A Carlson, occurred the marriage of Miss Mary Flucky to Mr. George Pratt. The ceremony was performed at 1:00 o'clock in the presence of a few relatives and friends, the bridal couple being attended by Miss Margurite Flucky and Harry Marks, of Murray.
The beautiful ring ceremony was used, and Miss Lois Castle sang, "I Love You Truly."
Miss Flucky is one of Afton's best young ladies. She is popular with the young folks, is a prominent worker in the church and has many friends who wish her happiness. She has been clerking in the Fair Store for several years. The groom is a young farmer living near Winterset, and is not very well known to our people, but is a young man worthy in every way of the bride he has won.
They left the same day for Des Moines, and from there they will make their home. Afton people extend congratualtions and best wishes.
