The wedding of Mrs. Chatherine Chandler of Creston and Frank Carter of Afton, was solemnized at 7:30 Monday evening at St. Malachy's parsonage, Rev. Stephen Wise performing the service. They were accompanied by Keith Chandler and Mrs. J. F. Hayden, son and sister of the bride.
The contracting parties are well known in Afton, this being their home for many years. For some time Mrs. Chandler has been with the Dougherty-Thomson store in Creston. They will make their home here on the farm of the groom just south of town. Their many friends extend congratulations.
