McGINNIS-FRANKLIN

At 4:30, Sunday afternoon at the Methodist parsonage in Afton took place the marriage of Nellie McGinnis and Mr. Floyd Franklin with Rev. J. W. Goodsell officating. The bride and groom were accompanied by Mrs. Roy Huss, sister of the groom and her husband and their friends, Mr. & Mrs. A. Gummere and Miss Albia Showers. The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Minor McGinnis of Highland Township and is well known in this city. The groom is the son of Y. M. Franklin of Dodge Township. He was a world war veteran having served nine months in the gas arsenal at Edgewood, Maryland. He is well known in this city and community and in every way worthy of the bride he has won.

Mr. & Mrs. Frankin will make their home on a farm north of Afton.
