100 Years

The farm of Paul De Jong, RR2, Orange City, was honored as a Century Farm at ceremonies held Tuesday, August 19, 1980 at the Iowa State Fair. Accepting the award from Iowa Secretary of Agriculture, Robert Lounsberry and Dale Nelson, Iowa Farm Bureau is Mary Faust. The De Jong farm has been in the family since 1879.
