Bull Kills Maurice Man
Tony Bolluyt Stamped to Death
Tony Bolluyt, 73, a farmer living northwest of Maurice, met a terrible death last Thursday, April 1, by being stamped to death by a bull in the barn on his place. It was around noon when the elderly man went to the barn to let out the cows. When he did not return his son Martin went to look for him. He found his father dead covered by straw and dirt. He had two bruises on his face and his back was crushed. Three cows were still in the barn and it is surmised that the bull which was released a short time before turned on the farmer stamping him to death.
