Hello Janice,
I've spent some time this afternoon researching your Charles Moore. I found several old entries that appear to be your records, as well as the images of birth records that I believe are associated with your ancestry.com account.
I did notice the blanks on images of his birth record which is placed between other births in March. How frustrating. I didn't notice where these records were derived on those two images. Were those from a page of county level records?
I don't live far from the Iowa Archives library. However, those records will likely just duplication of county level records. This is why I am asking about their source. I could do a search for you, if it is possible there is more information to be found.I did search the Davenport newspapers during that time for a stork notice, and didn't find anything.
Also, I noted your Charles Moore's mother is buried in Cook County, Illinois, according to your Find A Grave record. There is a searchable database for death certificates in Illinois from 1916-1950. There are plenty of Charles Moore's in that database.

I did check IlGenWeb for Rock Island county records. Unfortunately, Illinois Genweb sites do not offer free site searches like Iowa does.
I did find a few references for "Charles Moore" in Scott county. I did also search several other premium paid sites and Family Search. None of the information was additional to what you already have on his ac profile.
I did find a little interesting tidbit. There is a Charles E. Moore who has a 1897 birth date on his stone at the Drury-Reynolds cemetery in Rock Island. However, the wife with this Charles doesn't share the name in your records.
I am sharing, as there is always the slim chance of additional marriage, or stone errors. I have a great aunt who was born a specific year. Her gravestone markings are off by two whole years. It’s too bad that cemetery isn't staffed. I have several relatives buried there.Rebecca Foster
