Funeral services for Michael "Mike" Richlen, 21, Dixon, were held June 24, 1989 at St. Ann's Catholic church, Long Grove, with burial in the Dixon cemetery.

Mr. Richlen died in an accident near Plainview June 22.

The son of Clarence and Joan Goethals Richlen, he was born Feb. 3, 1968 in Davenport. He was a 1986 graduate of North Scott high school and had been employed as an electrician laborer with Farm Aids Inc. for 7 years.

Mr. Richlen was very active in active in softball in the area, and was an avid hunter and snowmobiler. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic church.

He is survived by his parents, Clarence and Joan Richlen, Dixon; a sister, Carrie Richlen, Omaha, Neb.; 2 brothers, Kirk, Davenport and Kendel, Independence; his grandparents, Joe and Jennie Goethals, Bennett; a friend Angie Kook and several aunts and uncles.
