Funeral services for Mrs. Arnold (Minnie Irene) Wiese, 81, were held at Wilton Nov. 19, 1988 with the Rev. Paul Pennington officiating. Burial was in the New Liberty cemetery. Grandsons were pallbearers. Mrs. Wiese died at the Wilton Nursing home Nov. 14.

The daughter of Christian and Augusta Meyer Raabe, she was born in Scott county Jan. 13, 1907. She married Arnold Petersen in Argo Sept. 2, 1925. He died in 1944. She married Arnold Wiese in Tipton Aug. 20, 1947. He died June 26, 1988.

Mrs. Wiese was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America since 1956.

She is survived by a son, Donald Wiese, New Liberty; a daughter, Marilyn Marten, Walcott; 9 grandsons, 2 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a niece and several nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, 4 sisters and a stepdaughter.
