Funeral services for Harvey Ellsworth, 83, Durant, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today, May 25, at Runge Chapel, Davenport, with burial in the Davenport Memorial Park.

Harvey Ellsworth died May 23 at Mercy hospital after a short illness.

He was a farmer at Durant until 1951 and was a seed salesman for 18 years. He married Alice Hannah in 1934 in Peoria, IL and was an Army veteran of World War I. He was also a member of the Scott County Farm Bureau.

Survivors include his wife, daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Lois) Riexinger, Rolfe; Mrs. Mel (Betty) Dirksen and Mrs. Leonard (Sandra) Dick, both of Bettendorf; and Mrs. Harry (Lois) Ritter, Fairport; sons, Robert and William, Durant; Richard, Davenport and Jim, Colorado Springs, CO: 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and a sister, Ethel Ornsby, Cherokee Village, AR.
