Funeral services for Allen J. Mumm, 66, Durant, were held at Davenport May 10 with the Rev. Jack Ehlers officiating. Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park cemetery. Mr. Mumm died at a Davenport hospital May 6.

The son of Arnold and Anna Hagen Mumm, he was born in Scott county April 8, 1917. He was married to Jean Paustian in Davenport Aug. 6, 1950. They farmed near Stockton and he was an independent milk hauler for the former Quality Milk association.

He was a past director of the Farmers Co-op in Stockton and a member of the Davenport Moose.

He is survived by his wife; 3 sons, David, Davenport; Douglas, a captain in the US air force in the Philippines and Duane, rural Stockton; a daughter, Mrs. Glen (Deborah) Korthaus, Davenport; 3 grandchildren; his mother, Anna Mumm, Bettendorf; a brother, Arlo, Davenport and 3 sisters, Mrs. Harry (Leila) Gust, Muscatine; Mrs. Gilbert (Anita) Ryan, DeWitt and Mrs. Robert (Lorraine) Speth, Bettendorf.
