ADAM WINFIELD ARGO

Adam Winfield Argo, former Davenport resident, died Sunday in the home of his sister, Mrs. Nellie Peterson, in Mercer, Mo. Mr. Argo left Davenport a week ago to make his home with his sister.

A native of Missouri, Mr. Argo was born in Nodaway County and prior to leaving Davenport a week ago, had resided here for 18 years. His wife, the former Lula Cox, whom he married Dec. 23, 1903, preceded him in death.

Survivors include four sons, William, Jackson (with whom he resided) and John, all of Davenport, and Leonard of Mercer; and a daughter, Miss Nellie Argo of Davenport.

Funeral services and burial will be held in Mercer.
