Last rites for Louis Sebelien, 74, were held at Gloria Dei Lutheran church, Durant, April 7 with the Rev. Jack Ehlers officiating. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Mr. Sebelien died at Osteopathic hospital, Davenport, April 5.

The son of Rudolph and Mary Mohr Sebelien, he was born at New Liberty March 6, 1905. He was married to Amanda Wulf in Davenport Aug.28, 1924.

He was a retired farmer.

Mr. Sebelien is survived by his wife, a son, Virgil, Davenport; a grandchild; 2 great-grandchildren; a brother, Rudy, Coal Valley, Ill. and a sister, Mrs. Donald (Marie) Schell, Durant. He was preceded in death by a daughter, 2 brothers and a sister.
