Funeral services for Mrs. Elvira Gless, 94, Blue Grass, were held at Davenport Feb. 20 with burial in Rose Hill cemetery. Mrs. Gless died at her home Feb. 18 following a brief illness.

The former Elvira Corbin was born in Lost Nation April 12, 1884 and was married to Frank Gless in Calamus Feb. 23, 1910. He died May 24, 1932. Mrs. Gless was the oldest resident living in Blue Grass at the time of her death.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Mrs. Gladys Grimm, Blue Grass; Mrs. Marie Hartman, Las Vegas, Nev. and Mrs. Richard (Jane) Shumaker, Tipton; a son, Clyde, Davenport; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
