"Nettie" was the dtr of Charles H. (Duncan & Rebecca Lippincott3, Josiah2, William1) and Josephine B. Thompson Eldridge born 10 March 1863 in Davenport.
At her mother's death in 1867, Nettie and sister "Carrie" [Caroline Lincoln 1865), went to live with their Aunt Sarah Ade (Josephine's sister) in Davenport.
By 1880, Nettie returned to her home where she was working as a dressmaker.
She married Calvin Campbell on 21 December 1882 in Kansas City, MO. He was the son of Thos. and Mary Ann Babcock Campbell, born 18 January 1844 in Orleans County, NY. Calvin worked as a locomotive engineer in the Kansas City terminal for 30 years.
He died 18 April 1925 in Kansas City, Nettie died 7 February 1917 in Kansas City, where they are buried in Elmwood Cemetery. The were members of West Side Christian Church.
They had 3 children: Mary Josephine, Nellie Mae and Charles Thomas.
