Winifred Margaret Whisler, 83, of Oregon, WI died March 4, 1988, at a Madison, WI hospital. She was born Aug. 13, 1904, at Clearfield, daughter of Hugh and Birdie Ferguson. She was a retired high school English teacher and was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include two daughters, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one brother, Ira Ferguson of Tingley and his wife, Berneice, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryce, in 1978; a son and grandson, and her brother, George Ferguson in 1959. Memorial services were held at West Arbor Free Methodist Church March 9, and burial will be in the Tingly Cemetery this Saturday, March 12, 1988.
