FORMER RESIDENT DIES of a HEART ATTACK

Jesse LAMB, a long-time resident of Summitt Township, died a victim of a heart attack at his home on Friday, November 27, 1955. It is thought the heart attack was brought on by over exertion in shoveling snow.

Jesse James LAMB was born February 4, 1881 [Ringgold County, Iowa, the son of James Talkington and Barbara Ellen (SYLVESTER) LAMB], and at the time of his death had attained the age of 72 years, 9 months and 23 days.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace [(PHILPOT)] LAMB, one son Lloyd LAMB of Washington, one daughter Mrs. Charles MOSSES of Stewart, Nebraska, one foster sister, Mrs. Oliver NOE of Dixon, Nebraska.

Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church monday, November 30. Rev. Herman PETERS of Grand River officiated. He was buried in the Lake View cemetery.
