OBITUARY - EDWARD "FRANK" DeBOARD

July 1, 1934 - October 26, 2010

Edward Frank DeBOARD, son of Georgia May HESLEY DeBOARD and Thomas William DeBOARD, was born July 1, 1934 at Annapolis, Missouri. Frank was a logger all of his life; logging in Missouri and Iowa. He was united in marriage to Glenda Joyce HALE on September 10, 1958 in Grant City, MO. Frank & Joyce lived their lives in Mount Ayr.

Frank passed away on October 26, 2010 at the Greater Regional Hospice Home in Creston.

Survivors include his three children Gary Gene DeBOARD of Des Moines, Frankie Kay JOHNSON of Creston, and Michael Ray DeBOARD of Creston; four grandchildren Ashly Lynn JOHNSON, Christopher Edward DeBOARD, Andy James DeBOARD, and Jennifer Fay DeBoard; brother Albert DeBOARD of Des Arc, MO; sister Glenda DeBOARD of St. Louis, MO; companion & friend Genevieve ROACH of Mount Ayr; other relatives and friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; wife Joyce on July 26, 2001; daughter Debbie Ellen DeBOARD; and two brothers David & Gene DeBOARD.

Funeral services were held October 30, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. from the Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home of Mount Ayr. Interment was made at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Iowa. Arrangements handled by Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home.
