OBITUARY - JUDGE ROBERT CHENEY HENRY

MOUNT AYR, IA, May 22 -- Judge R[obert]. C[heney]. HENRY died yesterday at Globe, Ariz., at the home of his son. He was a pioneer lawyer here and was district judge for eight years. He is survived by a son and two daughters. The interment will be here [Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr], Wednesday.

NOTE: Judge HENRY was a Civil War Veteran, serving as a Private with Company B of the 172nd Ohio Infantry. He was born in Harrison County, Ohio, on December 14, 1841, the son of Robert and Mary Ann (CHENEY) HENRY, and married in Athens, Missouri on August 10, 1860 to Jane Frances HART.
