DEATH of MRS. E. J. GERMAN

Mrs. E. J. [Maude (CAMP)] GERMAN passed away yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock after a lingering illness of consumption. She had been in poor health for a number of years and last spring the family moved to Nebraska in the hope that a change of climate would be beneficial to her health, but she grew gradually worse and after a short residence there they returned to Mount Ayr and have since made their home with Mr. [Elva Jack] GERMAN'S mother, Mrs. John [Abagail (ASBURY)] GERMAN.

Deceased was born in Peoria county, Illinois, October 18, 1875, and died December 19, 1912, aged 37 years, 2 months and 1 day.

She leaves to mourn her death her husband and two small children, Cleo and Vona, and a host of friends.

The funeral will be held tomorrow (Saturday) forenoon at 11 o'clock from the Christian church and in the absence of Pastor SWAN the service will be conducted by Rev. W. E. DARROW of the Baptist church. The body will be laid to rest in Rose Hill cemetery.
