Mrs. Leafa WILLIAMS, 82, formerly of Taylor County, daughter of Parker RAYNOR and Eva STAFFORD, RAYNOR, was born in Taylor Co., Iowa on June 18, 1890 and died in the Methodist Hospital at Des Moines on May 22, 1973. Funeral services were held in Ellston, Iowa with interment in Cedar Rapids.
Mrs. WILLIAMS lived in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for many years but after the death of her husband, moved to Phoenix, Ariz. In Feb. 1972, she came to make her home with her niece and family, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent DUKES of Ellston, Iowa.
She is survived by two sisters: Mrs. Fern JOSLYN of Chico, Calif, and Mrs. Effa CUNNING of Bedford; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Parker RAYNOR of St. Joe, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, on April 11, 1948; her parents and four sisters, Mrs. Ida WEINGARTH, Mrs. Etta CUNNINGHAM, Mrs. Neva WHITE, Mrs. Audrey PERSHIN and one brother, Forest Parker RAYNOR.
She was a member of the Central Christian Church of Phoenix, Ariz., the Ladies Auxiliary of the Railroad Trainmen and the Rebekah Lodge of Phoenix, Ariz.
