OBITUARY - ELMER THURMAN

Elmer THURMAN, son of George and Mary THURMAN, was born July 18, 1870 at Maquon, Ill., and passed away February 5, 1941, at his home northeast of Allendale, Mo., at the age of 76 years, six months and 18 days. In February 1890, he was married to Ida DAVID, and to this union one 1 daughter was born. He was united in marriage to Beulah THOMPSON, December 27, 1905, and they were the parents of five children Joe, Of Sweet Home, Ore., George, of Hatfield, Mo., Helen, of Imogene, Harold, at home, and Gertrude, who preceded him in death April 9, 1911.

Mr. THURMAN spent most of his life in Missouri and Iowa. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and neighbors.

He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, four children, 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, February 8, from the Rhoades Funeral Home. Burial was made in the Ringgold cemetery.
