DEATH of MRS. B. F. RUBY, August 8

Lovina B. JACKSON was born October 13, 1847 in Mercer County, Illinois, where she remained until 1877. She then moved to Ringgold County, Iowa.

In January 1881 she was married ot B. F. RUBY [Boanerges Franklin] who departed this life three years ago. On Tuesday at 11:00 o'clock she quietly passed from this earthly home in Knowlton, Iowa to her heavenly one that was prepared for her. She leaves three children, five sisters and two brothers to mourn her loss.

The funeral services were held in the Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. J. D. SPARKS. The remains were laid to rest in the Knowlton [Centenary] Cemetery. The family have the sympathy of all.
