Elaine Bernice (REESE) SIEBELS

Elaine Bernice SIEBELS was born to Irving and Ida (BLAIR) REESE on July 2, 1921 at Peterson, Iowa. Elaine graduated from Rossie High School in 1940. On June 8, 1942, she was united in marriage to Jack SIEBELS at the Methodist Church in South Sioux City, Nebraska. After Jack had served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II, they returned to the Alta, Iowa. Elaine was a farm wife and helped Jack later with a hog-buying and trucking operation that they bought from Allie JOHNSON. After retiring, Elaine & Jack enjoyed traveling, camping, and fishing. Elaine and Jack moved to Mount Ayr in October of 2004 to be near their daughter, Linda. Jack passed away on June 11, 2005. Elaine continued to live at the Mount Ayr Health Care Center and she passed away there on March 6, 2007.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother-in-law Rudy BECK; and a nephew Randy BECK.

Survivors include daughter Linda WILT and Larry CAMPBELL of Mount Ayr; 7 grandchildren Bob WILT & wife Amanda, Bora RASCO & husband Brian, Jack WILT & wife Susan, Ellen PALMER, Ryan WILT, Tony WILT, and Martha WILT; 8 great-grandchildren; her sister Lois Ann BECK of Spencer, Iowa; other relatives and friends.

Elaine was cremated and no services are planned at this time. A private graveside service for Jack and Elaine will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Alta, Iowa.
