OBITUARY - SYLVESTER THEODORE GUNTER.

Sylvester Theodore GUNTER, son of Columbus T. and Ida B. GUNTER, was born September 9th, 1901, and departed this life February 12, 1924, aged twenty-two years, five months and two days. At the age of nine years his parents moved to St. Joseph, Mo., where he grew to manhood and since the death of his parents has made his home with his sister, Mrs. Cleath DUNBAR.

He had been in poor health for about four years, being afflicted with rheumatism, but bore his suffering patiently. He had a kind and loving disposition and was loved by all who knew him. He leaves to mourn his death three brothers, Oren and Howard, of Chicago, and Lloyd, of Peoria, Ill., and one sister, Mrs. Cleath DUNBAR, of St. Joseph, Mo., and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held in the Benton church, conducted by Rev. T. S. RHOADES and interment at Marshalltown cemetery [near Benton, Ringgold County, Iowa].
