NOTICE of DEATH.

On the 18th inst. the citizens of this part of the county were called upon to mourn the death of D[elacy]. C. GARD, one of Lincoln's best and most respected young men. Delacy leaves many friends to mourn his death and sympathize with his aged parents, brother and sisters.

NOTE: Delacy C. GARD was born in 1853 and died in 1878 with interment at Grove Chapel Cemetery, Kent, Union County, Iowa.
