OBITUARY - Mrs. JACOB CUTSHALL

Annie CLAYTON, daughter of David and Maria CLAYTON, was born in Springfield, Ohio, April 26, 1853, and departed this life at her home near Benton, August 24, 1930, aged 77 years, three months and 28 days.

On April 20, 1879, she was united in marriage to Jacob CUTSHALL, who preceded her in death three years ago. To this union was born ten children. Two preceded her in death. Those living are Walter of Creston, Iowa, Jacob, Willie, Clarence, and Arthur, of Benton, Ila, Edd, Peter and Earl, who could not be located at this time,

Mrs. CUTSHALL was a faithful wife, kind mother and good neighbor.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her children, two grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Sarah GARITY of Benton, and Mrs. Maria CALWELL, of Kansas, besides a host of neighbors and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Benton Tuesday afternon, at 2:30, conducted by Rev. Dennis DILLE and assisted by T. S. RHOADES, and interment made in the Benton cemetery [Benton, Ringgold County, Iowa].
