DEATH of MRS. NANCY W. CRITCHFIELD

Died on Tuesday July,25, 1893, Mrs. Nancy CRITCHFIELD, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. E. MILLER in Mount Ayr, Iowa, aged 79 years, 5 months and 12 days. Mrs. CRITCHFIELD was born February 13, 1813 in Washington county Pennsylvania. She moved to Knox county Ohio in 1858, and was married to Wilson CRITCHFIELD March 24th, 1837. Nine children, four daughters and five sons, sprang from the marriage. Two daughters and two sons died early in life. R. J., E. W. and W. H., sons and Mrs. Frank McGUGIN and Mrs. M. E. MILLER, daughters, all of whom live in Ringgold county except Mrs. R. J. CRITCHFIELD who live at Weldon, Iowa.

She moved to Iowa in 1874. He husband died August 8th, 1878. She has been a christian and a member of the Christian church from early womanhood. She took sick about five months ago, and during all the time had rich experiences of faith and hope, and passed away in a good old age rejoicing in the hope of the glory of God. The funeral took place from the Christian church, Thursday July 27th, 1893, at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. N. G. BROWN.

NOTE: Interment was made at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Iowa.
