Hello Jody,
I don't have access to Ancestry.com any longer and the one CD that I had: 1870 census for Poweshiek Co., has so many scratches and no longer works. Saying that, you might want to try Familysearch.org. I have found a great deal of initial information; census, birth/marriage/death records, especially on Iowa families.
I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.
