Marcia K. Fitzgerald, 67, of Grinnell, died on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at her home.
A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the Grinnell Christian Church. Interment will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 8, in the West Pine section of Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell.
Visitation will be held from 12 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home. The family will be present to greet friends from 5 to 8p.m. Tuesday evening.
Memorials may be designated to the Fitzgerald Scholarship Fund, c/o Greater Poweshiek Community Foundation, PO Box 344, Grinnell, Iowa 50112. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.smithfh.com.
Marcia is survived by her daughters, Teri (David) Hoffstetter and Shannon Fitzgerald, both of Grinnell; four grandchildren, Michael and Tanner Hoffstetter and Alex and Alexi Schultz, all of Grinnell; and her brother, Alan (Sue) Hattel of Dubuque Iowa.
