I have posted the census records for the Christian Home orphanage at the free USGenWeb site for Pottawattamie County, Iowa. You can access that page and see those records to find your family members. If I can help you with information, please let me know.

The orphanage itself did not burn down, although one building may have. In fact, a modern facility is still on that site today in Council Bluffs, still caring for children and adolescents and providing family services.
