Heard Sentenced For Fifteen Years
Council Bluffs, June 17
One John Heard, convicted of murdering John Dolan at Avoca last April, was sentenced yesterday by Judge Reid to fifteen years at hard labor in the Iowa penitentiary, and left for Fort Madison in charge of the Sheriff this morning.
