Odie Stenson, 68, of 1711 10th St died of cancer Wednesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.

Mr. Stenson was born in Albany, Ky., and moved to Des Moines 47 years ago from Kellogg. He retired as a general laborer. His guardian, Linda Ruble of Des Moines, survives.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Door of Faith Mission.
